The Music Stadium Center concept began with a life long dream and a strong desire to share my love of music and the arts. We are a family owned and operated business celebrating our 16th year at our 21 mile and Garfield location. I have been involved in music as far back as I can remember. I have performed professionally with several bands as well as solo vocal and piano performances since age fifteen. As a young college music major, I learned quickly that being involved in learning music and the arts has a significant impact on a persons quality of life. The learning of music also helps to develop strong character traits, personal dynamics and self confidence. It also helps a child expand their imagination and creativity.
As a piano and voice teacher for over 40 years, I became aware that music & art education was not being supported by the public schools system. A child's musical, artistic creativity should be strengthened, emphasized and encouraged. Today however, many children with natural musical and artistic talent are often not even given the opportunity to become involved in the arts because the schools have diminished or in some cases, eliminated these programs completely.
The Music Stadium Center supports music, fine arts, and creative writing. Programs for students of all ages from preschool to adults and seniors. We welcome visitors to call and schedule a tour of our facility. We will help you take the first step to find your dream of artistic expression.
We have been very blessed to have raised three remarkable and talented children. As a result, we now have ten amazing grand children. The Music Stadium has made it possible to share music and the arts with hundreds of young aspiring musicians & artists. Next to our family, the Music Stadium Center has truly been one of our greatest accomplishments. The Music Stadium is fortunate to be a part of many families weekly musical lives and we are proud to continue this presence in our wonderful community.
The Music Stadium is pleased to announce the beginning of our Winter Music Olympic Season. We will post the performance schedule soon. The students are busy practicing their songs as they prepare to play and sing for their family and friends. Everyone is excited to be a part of our this wonderful recital program.
We have discovered the secret of keeping young music makers interested and enthusiastic about learning music theory and playing the piano.
At the Music Stadium Center, we actually have a Stadium Room where we allow the students to play age appropriate games and activities that teach them the important music theory they need to be successful at playing the piano. We simply allow them to have fun.
